Dan and Sara Dangerfield

Lead Pastor

Dan and Sara, both native to Minnesota, have been part of the Assemblies of God since childhood. Pastor Dan received his bachelor's degree in Children’s Ministry from North Central University in 2003, and his master’s degree in Missional Leadership from Trinity Bible College in 2020.

Having been in ministry for nearly 20 years, both Dan and Sara have a heart for raising up the church to reach their personal world, whether it be their workplace, community or home. It is their desire to raise up a pastor in every home, creating healthy marriages and raising Christ-like children. They believe the church is the hope for the lost, broken, discouraged and battered.

Dan enjoys golfing, Sara values the written word, and together they gladly play taxi for their three children and all their activities.

Seth Taylor

Youth Pastor

Seth was born and raised in Laurel, Montana. After graduating High School he joined a 10 month missions tour and discipleship program called Missio Dei. It was during that time he felt his calling to preach and from there went to Trinity Bible College in Ellendale and received his B.A. in Pastoral Ministries after four years.
Seth has been serving at Journey Church as the Youth Pastor since June 2017. He has a heart for Minot's students, and seeks to emphasize discipleship as a main priority to our next generation. He loves to travel and has been on several missions trips both in and out of the country. Seth's interests include a wide range of activities from sports and hunting to reading, art, music and just about everything in-between.

Kayla Maedche

Children’s Pastor

Kayla was born and raised in Bismarck, ND, and has been a part of the Assemblies of God since childhood. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education from the University of Mary in 2013. God then called her to impact kids, and she started pastoring later that same year. Her heart yearns for kids to daily hear God’s personal voice, for them to be Spirit-led world-changers, and for the lost to find Jesus. She has been all around the world on various missions trips and has led several mission trip teams. In her spare time, she loves the outdoors, sci-fi, and teaching fitness classes.
